" DORCAS TAILORING TRAINING CENTRE PROUDLY OPENS FOR COMMUNITY DVELOPMENT & EMPOWERMENT IN PONDICHERRY"

Department of Mission and Evangelism, CSI Synod along with the Board for Mission and Evangelism, CSI Madras Diocese has participated in the opening ceremony of Dorcas Tailoring Training Centre at St. John's CSI Church, Pondicherry on 16th February 2021. This Centre was started by the vision and the help of beloved Rt. Rev. Dr. J. George Stephen, Bishop in Madras Diocese and beloved Bishop Amma Mrs. N. Yamuna for the community development and empowerment, especially for the sustainable betterment of most vulnerable women and transgender's community.

Rev. Dr. Paul Dayanadan ( Mission Director in Madras Diocese), Rev. Christopher Dharmaraj ( Director for the Department of Christian Education, CSI Synod), Rev. Maxcin John( Synod Mission Director) have attended in the opening ceremony. It was well- organized by Rev. Henry Jeba Richard( Pastorate Chairman) and Rev. Dhavaseeli Henry along with the Pastorate Committee of St. John's CSI Church, Pondicherry. There was a special visit to the school also under the Church.

Dorcas Tailoring Training Centre is a missional attempt to redeem the lost, recognize the least and restore the last.
