It was really an inspirational experience when missionaries of Vellore Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) gathered together for a special meditation on the well-known mountaintop of Zion Hills in Chittoor District on 10th November 2020. The Rt. Rev. H. Sharma Nithiyanandham, Bishop in Vellore Diocese has led the meditation. During this meditation, Bishop has shared about the visiting card of the great Missionary St. Paul, the Apostle (Romans 1:1). He has encouraged the missionaries to follow the example of Jesus Christ, the servant Lord. Furthermore, he advised to uphold the conscious that we have set apart for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, all missionaries are to lead a life in fervent prayer with a burden for the fellow-beings who are perishing day by day, Bishop added.

More exceptionally, this mountaintop experience was the precious time to make urge in the participants to carry mountainous gospel movements. Moreover, it was the time for prayer, self-auditing, self-discovery and rededication to participate in the mission of God more ardently.

The Vellore Diocesan Mission Director Revd. D. S.C Menon, former CSI Synod Mission Director Rev. T. Augustine and Rev. Maxcin John have attended in the special meditation along with fifteen missionaries in Vellore Diocese.
