CSI Vellore Diocese is Proactive in Combating COVID 19

Revd Fernandes of Zion hill runs a kitchen for the poor people. Zion hill Pastorate comes under Vellore Diocese. It’s situated in the Northern part of our Diocese. The pastor himself cooks along with the volunteers and distributes the food for the needy.

CSI Katpadi Church the Diocese distributed soaps, masks, Sanitizers and Lizol to the Scudder Memorial Hospital. Revd D. Cornelius, Alphi, and Suresh coordinated.

The CSI Board for Youth Work Vellore Diocese contributed Twenty-five Thousand Rupees for the treatment of COVID-19 affected people.

Revd Fernandes and his team distributed masks to the people and to the police personnel.

150 years old School of the Diocese at Tindivanam, Walter Scudder Higher Secondary School Campus, was converted into a vegetable market from today, which will cater to the needs of the people of the village.
