Church of South India, the first and the biggest united and uniting Indian Church, celebrates 70 years of mission and ministry within India and abroad.
A Thanksgiving Worship Service will be held at 8.30 am on 27th September at St. George's Cathedral in Chennai, where the formation of the Church of South India took place in 1947. In the afternoon, there will be a public meeting, which will be led by the Moderator of CSI, the bishops, the officers of the Synod and other eminent persons. Cultural events from all the five states will be showcased.
We request all of you to come in large numbers and take part this celebration on 27th September 2017 in Chennai, which is jointly organised by the CSI Synod and the Madras Diocese of CSI.
