Greetings from NCCI- Dalit and Tribal/ Adivasi Concerns!
We are very happy to inform you that the Tribal and Adivasi Sunday will be celebrated on 6th August 2017 in all over India by the Member Churches and Institutions of National Council of Churches in India to mark the International Day for World’s Indigenous Peoples. The theme for this year’s Tribal and Adivasi Sunday is “Solidarity in Christ: Bearing One Another’s Burdens” (cf. Galatians 6:2). It is very important that we celebrate this Sunday in our local parishes and institutions. We sincerely hope that the observance of this special NCCI Tribal and Adivasi Sunday will be an enriching one in our faith affirmation and commitment and for widening the horizon of our ecumenical journey.
We have dispatched the hard copies of worship order and posters which you may circulate among your pastors, lay leaders and department heads.
Attached herewith please find the pdf files.
Looking forward to receiving your cooperation in celebrating Tribal and Adivasi Sunday on 6th August 2017.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Dalit and Tribal /Adivasi Concerns
