Usilalampetti- Nalla Mutthanpetti Mission Field Exposure Visits underline the Church of South India as the Servant of God to carry on the Mission rooted in Jesus Christ and based on the Scriptures.

CSI Synod Mission and Evangelism Department has accompanied with Madhurai- Ramnad Mission Board in a Mission Exposure Visit to Usilampetti and Nalla Mutthanpetti in Madurai – Ramnad Diocese on 29th June 2018. Rev. Pon Prabhakar, Rev. Prem Christhdoss, Mr. Pon Raj and Rev.Maxcin John have participated in the Mission Exposure Visit. At the beginning, there was a special consultation at Cathedral Church with Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Joseph, Bishop in Madhurai- Ramnad Diocese, Rev. A. David Jebaraj, Diocesan Clergy Secretary and Rev. Caleb. Thereafter, Exposure Team attended in the monthly review meeting of the Missionaries which was conducted in the CSI Church, Usilampetty. It was the occasion to know about Home Missionary Society (HMS), Sower’s Mission, and Junior Church Mission of the Madurai-Ramnad Diocese. Fifty Missionaries have attended in the monthly review Meeting. Soon after the meeting, the Team has visited Nalla-Mutthanpetti mission field where sewing, as well as computer training programs, are organizing with the sponsorship of Church Divine Patience.  

The Mission Exposure Visit was an occasion to underline the Church of South India as the Servant of God to carry on the Mission rooted in Jesus Christ and based on the Scriptures. Moreover, it was the venue to have fellowship together, learn and listen together for the missional activities those are going to be organized in the near future. The exposure visit concluded with a special meet at the Madurai-Ramnad Diocesan Office with the Diocesan Treasurer Er. T. John Mahendran and Mr J. P. Edwin Chelliah; Diocesan Registrar.
